Who is eligible to live at Nye Square and what is the criteria for admission? |
| A. | Nye Square apartments are designed for people of retirement age who are independent but no longer interested in the responsibilities and worries of household maintenance. |
| Q. | Are the apartments furnished? |
| A. | No, these apartments are unfurnished so tenants are able to bring their own personal furnishings and treasures to decorate their apartments as they choose. |
| Q. | Am I responsible for household insurance? |
| A. | Nye Square provides insurance for building structure and common areas, but your personal property is not insured. We recommend renters’ insurance for your personal property. |
| Q. | Will I be able to entertain overnight guests? |
| A. | Absolutely, and if you need additional space, guest apartments are available by reservation for guests of Nye Square tenants. |
| Q. | Will I be able to keep my automobile? |
| A. | Absolutely, and if you need additional space, guest apartments are available by reservation for guests of Nye Square residents. |
| Q. | Will I be able to keep my automobile? |
| A. | Certainly. Detached garages with door openers are available on a monthly rent basis, plus there is ample uncovered parking space. |
| Q. | What emergency services will be available if I need them? |
| A. | Each apartment is equipped with an emergency call system to assure tenants of immediate attention in the event of an accident or emergency. |
| Q. | What happens if I can no longer function independently? * |
| A. | If tenants are no longer able to live independently, we will request they move into a level of care suited to their needs*. (*Persons living at Nye Square will have first priority at either Nye Courte, our assisted living apartments or Nye Point, our Medicare certified skilled nursing facility.) |
| Q. | What social and recreational amenities will be available to me? |
| A. | We offer a full range of organized social and recreation activities and exercise programs. In addition, we are conveniently located minutes away from golfing, fishing, movie-theaters, shopping and restaurants. |
